Why do women think it is their "choice" to take that which is the right of every human being in America away from their baby? It does not make any sense to me whatsoever. The way men and women talk about abortion is so disgusting to me. They have reduced human life to something that has no value whatsoever.


One woman said to me "I worry more about dogs in the pound then UN born babies but that's just me: )" 

 Our culture has made a major shift in values and continues to shift. What once was thought barbaric is now common place. Here is a list of major reasons women gave for having an abortion from a survey in 2004.


"A 2004 study by the Guttmacher Institute reported that women listed the following amongst their reasons for choosing to have an abortion:^[57]

• 74% Having a baby would dramatically change my life
• 73% Cannot afford a baby now
• 48% Do not want to be a single mother or having relationship problems
• 38% Have completed my childbearing
• 32% Not ready for another child
• 25% Do not want people to know I had sex or got pregnant
• 22% Do not feel mature enough to raise another child
• 14% Husband or partner wants me to have an abortion
• 13% Possible problems affecting the health of the fetus
• 12% Concerns about my health
• 6% Parents want me to have an abortion
• 1% Was a victim of rape
• less than 0.5% Became pregnant as a result of incest"

So most of these reasons are all selfish in nature and most could be solved by giving the child up for adoption. The crazy one that stuck out to me is in the case of rape. I have found that the women that are on the fence about abortion almost always say it is "okay" in a rape case. Yet our statistics show that only 1% of women chose abortions for the reason of a rape case. And how can we justify punishing a child for the sins of the father? Is that American justice?

Fox News put out this pharagraph about the percentage of abortions per term of the pregnancy.
"Of the 1.6 million abortions performed in the U.S. each year, 91 percent are performed during the first trimester (12 or fewer weeks' gestation); 9 percent are performed in the second trimester (24 or fewer weeks' gestation); and only about 100 are performed in the third trimester (more than 24 weeks' gestation), approximately .01 percent of all abortions performed."

So 91% of abortions are done at this stage.

9% of 1.6 Million abortions are done at this stage.

And about 100 are aborted at this stage.

I do not know how someone could look at these babies and not see a human life. I am not writing this to condemn or judge women that have had abortions. I am no judge and am by far faultless. However I cannot let women speak up all over supposedly speaking up for women and "women's choice" without standing up for what is right.. I believe a child has a God given right to life. And that life no matter how long or short is precious and worth preserving.
